What Should I Expect?
What happens when I get there?
You will be greeted with a smile and a handshake by our “greeters” (usually a couple within our congregation). If you come for Sunday School the children start out downstairs for a time of singing before being led to their classrooms by their teachers. The nursery and teen class are also located downstairs. If you are looking for a specific adult class, simply ask a greeter or usher and they will lead you to your classroom.
If you arrive in time for the morning or evening service, again you will be greeted at the door by one of our greeter couples and then an usher will show you to your seat and hand you two things: the weekly church bulletin and a visitors card to fill out and drop in the offering plate.
We hope that you will be encouraged by our service of traditional hymns and faithful Bible teaching and preaching. Each service will be centered around the Word of God and our Lord, Jesus Christ.
What won’t happen when I visit?
Though you will be warmly welcomed by the congregation you will NOT be singled out or put on the spot. You will not be asked to give financially. We want you to feel comfortable and welcome.
What happens when the service is over?
Pastors and other members of the congregation will introduce themselves and thank you for coming. If you have any questions or would like someone to pray with you feel free to ask either of our Pastors, our Sunday School teachers, or any other regularly attending member of the congregation. If the person you ask doesn’t have the answer to your question they will gladly direct you to someone who does.
